Roadside spaces. Parkgate near Santon Bridge

This is a fairly out of the way sort of place so there is plenty of room to park up here. It's actually one of those really wide gateways that lead to a forestry track. Both sides of the road have spaces.

If you particularly like trees you'll really enjoy this short walk. As you can see from the pictures, the place is covered in them.

And ten minutes after setting off I'm here at Parkgate Tarn. It's a bit wet and muddy around the edges but still a nice enough place.

And now, the short walk back to the car and then it's home for tea.
