We're heading to Hay Bridge Only.

This walk was just a couple of mile out and back along the road but there was an awful lot of nice countryside on offer and we did return with the thought that it was an area worth coming back and exploring more.

As the sign tells us, this area is a nature reserve and Black Beck Tarn confirmed this with its hide and viewing platforms.

"Quick, come and look at this"

Frogs (or are they toads), , , , , we saw dozens of them so that probably meant there were hundreds.

"Hide , , , ,"
"Why; are we not supposed to be in here"

"Blimey, it wouldn't hurt to crack a smile and pretend your enjoying it. Anyway: aren't you supposed to be doing that in the water"
"Why don't you mind your own business and for your information I was enjoying it until you turned up and shoved a camera in my face"

A couple of minutes along the road is White Moss (Hay Bridge) Tarn.

Returning the way we'd came.
