At least there's no confusion here, , , or so I thought.
A car stopped at this spot and the guy driving asked if I knew the way to Buttermere. I said "just stay on this road and it takes you straight over Newlands Pass and into Buttermere". "thanks very much" he said, followed by "I know the sign says Buttermere, but we're not confident that the signs around here are pointing in the right direction".
He than drove off before I could think of a suitable answer. Whenever I go somewhere new I just take it for granted that the signs are right. Than again, maybe I'm just too trusting or perhaps a bit gullible.
