Car park, Felldyke, Lamplugh

Found on the quieter western edge of the Lake District, there never seems to be problem getting parked here. Perhaps this is a result of the limited number of fells that can be reached from here. Having said that, the walks that can be done from here are fantastic.

Parking is free.

Blake Fell from the track between Felldyke and Cogra Moss.
After walking in the heat during the last three days I needed a rest, so it was an easy day at home and a short walk in the evening.

It was nice and cool as we were walking through the woods leading to Cogra Moss.

Cogra Moss and Blake Fell.

There were lots of Geese on the water today. I think they were as curious about me as I was about them.

Walking through the woods above Cogra Moss.

And again, with Blake Fell behind.

Back down at ground level again.

Looking back along the track we followed by the edge of the water. The dark line running through the trees below Blake Fell is the track we followed earlier in the walk.
Not a very long walk, but still nice to get out for an hour or so.
