Starting Point Information Centre
Roadside, near Burns Farm

This is a bit of a sneaky one.
The road widens at a bend and once or twice I've taken the opportunity to leave the car on the grass verge. Sadly there's only room for one car, although if you really want to park in this area there is room near the road junction leading to Naddle Bridge.

Tewet Tarn with Longscale Fell behind.

St John's in the Vale Church.

From the path up to High Rigg looking over Low Rigg towards Latrigg and the Skiddaw fells.

From the same place looking towards the Skiddaw fells (left) and Blease Fell (right).

High Rigg summit.

One of the small un-named tarns on High Rigg's ridge.

A brief gap in the cloud allowing a hazy view of the Dodds.

Looking back along the ridge.

Clough Head from the path up to Low Rigg.

Longscale Fell and Blease Fell from Low Rigg.

One of the two wild pony's near Low Rigg.

Looking across to some very dark North Western fells.
