Route suggestions

Route suggestion: Honister Pass - past Yewcrag Quarries - Dale Head
1.2 mile / approx 1200 ft ascent
++++++++++++++++++++
This is the quickest and easiest route onto Dale Head. You're straight off the road at the highest point on Honister Pass and onto the fellside where initially you follow the line of the fence. Once past the fence, the path becomes a little less distinct. No problem during good visibility, but in cloud, this may be an easy path to loose.

Route suggestion: Seatoller - Rigghead Quarries - Dalehead Tarn - Dale Head
3 mile / approx 2200 ft ascent
++++++++++++++++++++
There is plenty for you to see on this route from the lovely hamlet of Seatoller to Rigghead Quarries and Dale Head Tarn. Assuming you can read a map, navigation is fairly easy and the paths are all easy to follow. The exception to this is the short section between the top of of Rigghead Quarries and Dale Head Tarn where a little cross country walking is needed.

Route suggestion: Rosthwaite - New Bridge - Tongue Gill - Rigghead Quarries - Dalehead Tarn - Dale Head
2.7 mile / approx 2200 ft ascent
++++++++++++++++++++
Most of what is written for the previous route applies to this one except you're setting off from Rosthwaite instead of Seatoller.
