I just love it on Causey Pike. It was one of the first fells I ever walked on and it's remained a regular haunt for me ever since. Over the years I've been up and down every route you can think of, in every weather you could imagine, and not once have I wished I'd walked somewhere else on that particular day. I suppose I'm trying to say this is somewhere I thoroughly enjoy, not only that, it's somewhere I highly recommend as well. Bow Fell or Great Gable it certainly isn't, but then again it doesn't have to be.
Coming in second place to the Langdale Pikes, I recon Causey Pike has the most easily recognisable skyline in the Lake District. The bulbous summit sticking out like the proverbial sore thumb more than confirms what you're looking at.
