Lang How Tarn

Map

Lang How Tarn is gradually becoming extinct. Progressively becoming overgrown, and I would say, will disappear altogether eventually. From a distance the full size of the tarn can be seen more clearly, and only helps to highlight the extent of what we are going to lose if nothing is done about it.

Photo gallery

Lang How Tarn which is sadly becoming more and more overgrown and chocked up with grasses. Even though the tarn isn't as attractive as it could be; the view from here is still great. In the background are Pike O'Blisco, Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and the Langdales.

From this angle it hardly looks like there's a tarn here at all.
