Easedale Tarn

Map

This is one of the larger tarns of the Lake District, and one of the most popular. Not only with “Fells Walkers” but also with many other visitors to the lakes. The tarn is roughly a good hours walk from Grasmere, well sign posted and on good easy to follow paths. An ideal walk for people who are just looking for an afternoon away from the crowds, yet who don’t want to start buying any walking equipment, or having to start messing around with maps.
